We believe that every Person deserves to feel confident, powerful, and beautiful. Our passion lies in creating stunning, well-styled hair that enhances individuality and brings out inner confidence. With expert styling, premium products, and a personalized approach, we help Every Person express their true beauty—one Ray’Con Academy Salon was named after my beloved parents, Mr. & Mrs. Raymond and Connie Mosley. Ray’Con Academy’s name was given by my cousin Ursula Stevenson-Weathers. The salon will be the beginning of my journey after my illness. I am the youngest of four siblings, they have blessed me with four nieces and three nephews. I have one daughter, Michelle Patton, who has blessed me with three beautiful grandchildren. I have been a business owner for 30 years. I attended Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY in 1991. I later finished my degree in Special Education at the University of Kentucky and received a degree in Sociology. Later, I moved to Louisville, KY and received a degree in Education of Cosmetology. God truly has blessed me.

The vision that I have for Ray-Con Academy is to be the first Black owned Cosmetology school in Lexington, KY. My goal is to bring a difference in our cosmetology schools to be able to bless individuals with scholarships, teaching them how to be business owners, how to build, create and how to pass the State Board. Ray-Con Academy will set aside from all other schools around the nation bringing great ideas to our new cosmetology school. I am excited God has allowed me to see the need in our industry of cosmetology. Ray-Con Academy will also have jobs for individuals in our community that can bring excitement to our Ray-Con Academy School. Note: Never stop dreaming, always go for elevation and not delegation. There is always
something you can do, stay focused ono your key of success.
